Montage songs are those which do not have actors lip syncing to the playback.They are simply a number of scenes put together. Generally used to convey the story more effectively with a song playing in the background,most of them tend to have amazing lyrics!! So here are "some" of my favorite Montage songs in telugu in no particular order..
"Neeve Neeve" from Amma,Nanna,O Tamil Ammayi .One of Chakri's best compositions till date.Sung by Chakri himself and written by Pedda Murthy, this one beautifully captures the relationship between a mother and a son played to perfection by JayaSudha gaaru and Raviteja.
"Egire Mabbulalona" from Happy. It is Yuvan Shankar Raja at his best here.Beautifully written by Kulashekar and Sung by S.P.Charan in a way that reminds us of his father S.P.Baalu gaaru himelf ...I wonder why he doesnt sing often these days!!The scenes between Arjun and Genelia add cuteness to this one!!
"Nenani Neevani" from Kotha Bangaaru Lokam.Not taking anything away from composer Mickey.J.Mayer ans singer Swetha Pandit...there are 2 other important reasons why this song features on my list :Lyrics by my favorite- Seetharama Shastry gaaru and amazing Camera work by Chota.K.Naidu.
"Ghal Ghal" from Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. Again it is Seetharama Shastry gaaru and S.P.Baalu gaaru's magic that makes this one really special considering its rear to get this combination these days!! Add to that Devi Sri Prasad's tunes,Prabhu's picturization, beautiful visuals(the village,the fields etc) and my darling Siddharth's charm and there's no way i can miss out on this one!!!
"Karige Loga" from Aarya-2 which had the most amazingly picturized songs in recent times.But this one features in my list not only for its visuals but for its Lyrics written by Vanamali.It is easily the best i have heard recently and i think Vanamali is slowly joining my list of Favorite lyricists too!!These lines are worth a mention:
Parugulu theesthu alasina oo nadhini nenu..
Iru theeraallo dheniki cheruva kaanu..
Niduranu daati nadichina oo kala nenu..
Irukannullo dheniki sontham kanu..
Also Kudos to Kunal Ganjawala's singing..never once felt that he's not a telugu.
Though i said there's no particular order to this list i think i saved the best for the last!! Its the EVERGREEN "Appudo Ippudo" from a classic and now Bhaskar's prefix- Bommarillu.
The reasons are obvious. Siddharth's rendering--check; Siddharth and Genelia's chemistry--check;DSP's superb composition--check.Simple yet beautiful lyrics by Kulashekar and Ananth Sriram--check. Bhaskar's scenes with cuteness written all over-check. The sheer joy one gets on listening to this track or watching the video--check, Sid's smile at the beginning(priceless!!!)--check; the smile I get on my face when I just think of it-check and the fact it may remain my favorite forever-check!! Its Pa ni ni sa sa all the way!!!;)

haha same pinch :)it means we both like the same...but i should add one song in tht list 'Edo priya raagam vintunna' song from Arya.we can find da soul in tht.riley touching when he uses the word 'nuvvunte'....nothing can replace his happiness in her presence where her love surround him n makes him complete...n asusual devi rockz,sagar added flavour with his voice to sirivennala's lovely lyrics.we can even xplore da feelings of love in beautiful locations in araku:)
